I’ve been reading up all over the web on Implementing Lean Manufacturing. The adjustment process would be painful, but I think we can manage it.
I’d much rather improve our efficiency locally than resort to mass layoffs our overseas outsourcing.

Personally, I have always enjoyed traveling outside of my country but I know many people that have never even left the state they live in and always vacation locally. I'm not one for last minute travel although I suppose I could be if my schedule was more flexible but my job requires me to ask for vacation months in advance. Still after all is said and done I still the use the internet a great deal for my vacation research before I actually go along to see my travel agent as I will have most of the information I require before I see her. It may not be fair on my travel agent but at least I know if something goes wrong, I will have someone to complain to on my return.
