Interest rates in school loans also factors into the problem of student debts as well as debt due to undergraduate educations costs. medical student debt not only plays a large role from an educational aspect but also from the health care standpoint because among other reasons it causes unsafe physician behavior because of increased job stress. Due to moonlighting to earn money to pay for medical school, some doctors are fatigued when going on duty and administering patient care which can lead to errors.
