There is no absolute definition of a penny stock or active penny stocks. There are a lot of people that say a penny stock is one that trades for pennies, there are others that think it is a stock that trades for under five dollars, and then there are people that think a penny stock is any stock that is not traded on the major markets exchanges. But active penny stocks, with their low price, still could make penny stock fortunes. Active penny stocks are capable of making swift moves in very short time frames which make them unique. Active penny stocks are based on the price of the stock which is usually very low but these stocks are much riskier then regular stocks are.
