Countering customer objections

To kick of the sales season this year the company I work for has issued individual sales goals. They are sponsoring candidates to attend a sales convention to learn more about the most up to date sales techniques. There are several keynote speakers that I am interested in learning form. One of the specialist sessions is to do with overcoming customer objections. This is the biggest challenge for me presently so I am hoping to learn ways to become better at countering this and closing more sales.

Your sales team just finished their sales training seminars. They were all excited about what they heard and learned. The question now is how can they implement what they’ve learn in a sales training? All the time and money will be wasted if the team doesn’t know how to implement the tools and knowledge they just learned. This is the worst thing that can happen to your team if proper implementation is not done after sales training. The company should be committed to reinforcing the sales team, and make the most out of the sales training that their sales people have gone through. Some trainers offer follow-up programs themselves, so take advantage of these.

My daughter is a cheerleader. SHe cheers for a variety of sports such as football, basketball, wrestling, baseball, and volleyball. Although she does not participate in sports, I still attend all of the games, matches, and meets to watch her cheer. At the last basketball game, I noticed that the high school installed a water vending machine. I think it was a great idea. Kids these days drink entirely too much soda, which contains a lot of sugar. Water is better for them. When the kids are thirsty during practices, games, or just during the school day, they can get a refreshing water from the machine. The machine contains bottles of plain water and bottles of flavored water. This too is a great idea, as there is something in the machine that will appeal to everyone's tastes.
