It is almost scary to think about it. Imagine a day when every move you make will be tracked by Rifd technology. Currently, Rifd technology is used for supply chain management purposes. However, there is talk, that in the future, it will be used to further facilitate the buying and selling of goods and services. For instance, you would theoretically be able to walk into a store that sells goods, pick up what you want and walk out. No, it would not be free, but each product that you will buy will have an Rifd tag or chip which is read for price. In turn your credit card will also have a chip that is read to charge the products to. A receipt would be sent to your PC at home for the transaction.
