HDTV Television Sets

To be able to appreciate hdtv television broadcasts, you will need an HDTV capable television set. The reason for this is that the broadcasts for traditional television and HDTV are on different parts of the spectrum. Ordinary televisions set will also be unable to handle the data being broadcast through HDTV, even if they are able to reach it. The reverse is not true however, and most HDTV sets are generally able to pick up traditional TV signal broadcasts. However, in time, this ability will be irrelevant, as all broadcast television programming in the United States as of 2009 will be HDTV, with most cable channels soon to follow suit.
