Countering customer objections

To kick of the sales season this year the company I work for has issued individual sales goals. They are sponsoring candidates to attend a sales convention to learn more about the most up to date sales techniques. There are several keynote speakers that I am interested in learning form. One of the specialist sessions is to do with overcoming customer objections. This is the biggest challenge for me presently so I am hoping to learn ways to become better at countering this and closing more sales.
