This type of patent is related to software and computers. Any new computer program that is launched can get the software patent. But there is a lot of debate and confusion going on regarding the issue of this software patent. The concerns are whether or not should the software patent should be issued in the first place.
Another tricky question, which is yet to be answered is whether the issue of software patent will encourage the innovations and inventions how do i apply for a patent in the field of software or not. Different norms have been set up by different countries regarding the issue of software patents.
