I need to know the legal facts

I purchased a lien at the tax sale. A builder company came along and tried to redeem the said property. They have no recorded deed. One of the owners’ is no more. The other owner is claiming that he is the Personal Representative of the deceased, sold the property. He signed his interest over through a warranty deed that does have the same name on the deed as the original deed. He did not have court permission to sell the property. Can they do this? What can I do?
