I really need to learn more about Event Liability Insurance.
If you’re going to run a business, you need liability insurance. It’s as simple as that.
So I’ve been poking around the net looking for info on Event Liability Insurance.
It’s hard to decide how much coverage to get, though. I want to be protected, but don’t want to go broke doing it.

Buying A Firearm: Background Check Or Not?
Posted by admin on September 20, 2008 in Business
One of the most heated public debates, especially in this election year, is the gun control argument. Since 1993, when the Brady Act passed, people have been divided about whether gun control is necessary or violates personal freedom.
Licensed gun sellers are required to complete background checks before they can sell a gun. This is to prevent those with criminal backgrounds from getting weapons. However, private sellers are not required to check backgrounds and, if they want to, can sell guns to anyone.
Because of the restrictions on licensed sellers the pro-gun groups feel their rights are being violated; while the pro-gun-control people feel the law protects the innocent. Personally, I’m in favor of anything that keeps guns out of criminals’ hands, even if it’s only a few of them.

So lately I’ve been wondering about Renter’s Insurance Coverage.
It’s not just for your own stuff, it protects you from liability for damaging your building.
I’ve been making good progress researching the Best Renter’s Insurance policies online, so hopefully I’ll be able to make a decision soon.
What surprised me most was how inexpensive it is. So obviously it’s a no-brainer.
I’ll be looking forward to your comments.
Service, Service, Service…
Posted by admin on September 19, 2008 in Business :: Sales / Service
If you spend any time at all in the business world talking to customers, one of the buzzwords that always comes to light is service. Service, service, service… it’s the key to repeat business. I’m convinced.
You can sell me the greatest product in the world at the best price, but if you can’t back it up with service, it’s worthless to me. Good service requires good customer service training. And the best way to learn the basics is in professional training. Concepts are taught and practiced that can be taken to the callroom, showroom, the factory and retail floor.
Consult With A Credit Repair Specialist
Posted by admin on September 19, 2008 in Finance :: Mortgage & Debt
I work as a consultant; I help people. I consult with people on how to repair their damaged credit. Their credit may have been damaged by their actions, or it may have been damaged by someone else’s actions. Whatever the case, there are steps that can be taken. These steps are called credit repair steps. It really depends on the specific situation as to what steps to take to repair the person’s credit. Consult with a credit repair specialist, such as myself, to see what you can do to get your credit back where you want it to be.
Supply Chain
Posted by admin on September 19, 2008 in Business
One of the cornerstones of Lean is the supply chain. There is waste in every component of a system, even when each component is separate from the system as a whole. The manufacturer himself in the plant can cause waste. So can the customer waiting for the end product, if they are not giving the manufacturer the correct information on time. Because of all the individual waste, it is very hard to eliminate waste in one single area and solve the problem. We must be constantly focusing on all areas of the process. Everyone in the process must be aware of the constraints on the system and become partners in solving the problems to build a productive system.
Why Is Knowledge Management So Important?
Posted by admin on September 18, 2008 in Business :: Management
Have you ever been at work and a coworker came up to you with a problem and you wanted to help him because you had once experienced that same problem but you could not remember where you got the information from that you got to fix the problem. That is where knowledge management comes into effect in a business. Harnessing the knowledge and putting into a form such as a database so that anyone in the organization can access that information and the knowledge can also be shared with other coworkers and also shared with other firms in the same industry. Companies like mckinsey knowledge management provide this service to companies all over the world.

Compliance with CE Kite Mark
Posted by admin on September 14, 2008 in Business :: Legal
The EU has always emphasized the role of the harmonized European standards in facilitating compliance with ce kite mark. But most observers accept that the EU is not even at the halfway point in producing enough Euro Norm (EN) standards to make the process flow smoothly. Meanwhile, suppliers often face complex technical reviews with authorized test houses, such as the competent bodies under the EU’s EMC Directive, or notified bodies under some safety directives. The good news, however, far outweighs the bad. In only one major business sector, construction products, is one-stop approval still a distant dream. Everywhere else, evidence suggests that problems are either short-term or limited to minor sub sectors. For the past three years, there have not been any physical or documentation checks on goods at EU internal frontiers. But even beyond this, the evidence is mounting.
