Does My Bank Let Me Do Online Banking?

Posted by admin on October 29, 2008 in Finance

How can I find out whether or not my bank offers online banking services? Do I need to go to the bank for this, or might I be able to find out from the bank’s website? Can you usually sign up for this type of thing using the website or do you normally have to go fill out paperwork at the bank first? I really want to get started using online banking. I want to be able to check my balances from home and pay my bills the same way. I already have direct deposit to save me some trips to the bank, and this should make things even easier.

Corrections Should Be Made To Avoid Costly Investment Mistakes

Posted by admin on October 26, 2008 in Finance

It is not uncommon for employers to make a mistake with a simple IRA even though there are not many requirements and procedures to follow. Sometimes typing errors are made in contribution amounts, the spelling of a plan participant’s name, or even their social security number. Either of these could lead to costly mistakes if they are not corrected soon. Tax benefits can be lost if the retirement plan does not satisfy all of the necessary requirements for the plan. Once the error is found, corrections can be made by following certain procedures. Plan administrators should act as quickly as possible to make the correction.

Technology Advancements Keep Coming

Posted by admin on October 26, 2008 in Business

It is almost scary to think about it. Imagine a day when every move you make will be tracked by Rifd technology. Currently, Rifd technology is used for supply chain management purposes. However, there is talk, that in the future, it will be used to further facilitate the buying and selling of goods and services. For instance, you would theoretically be able to walk into a store that sells goods, pick up what you want and walk out. No, it would not be free, but each product that you will buy will have an Rifd tag or chip which is read for price. In turn your credit card will also have a chip that is read to charge the products to. A receipt would be sent to your PC at home for the transaction.

Posted by admin on October 10, 2008 in Business

190SR – this ACSI roller conveyor is quite heavy-duty. It has a capacity of up to 1350 pounds over 10 feet, with each roller capable of supporting 240 pounds. This is probably because each roller is made out of gauge steel tubing making this conveyor robust. Also, people buying this product have the option of having galvanized rollers installed instead of the gauge steel ones.

A little credit repair advice

Posted by admin on October 9, 2008 in Finance :: Mortgage & Debt

It’s difficult for me. My job is in a credit card company, looking after accounts that go into default. You see some sad cases where people default on their payments through circumstances out of their control and you see a lot of people who handle their credit very badly; just spend money till they max out run out of places to borrow from. It’s not my job to advice people how to run their affairs, but if I did I would give them this piece of advice. Never borrow to the full extent of your credit limits, be realistic, and always keep three months credit payments in reserve in case of problems. If things do go wrong, speak to your creditors, try and make a payment plan. The credit repair steps are actually pretty easy if you can change your ways and are willing to put in a little work by writing letters and making a few phone calls. If you find this difficult or embarrassing it may be worth your while to appoint a credit repair company to help you. They will be able to prepare an assessment of your debts and how soon you can pay these sums back, and help you to restore your credit score.

Why Does The DME Need Medical Billing Software?

Posted by admin on October 5, 2008 in Business :: Management

There are many types of durable medical equipment medical billing software on the market today and can be customized for the company and their billing practices. There are some companies that only use their DME for the doctor’s prescription services only, but they still need the medical billing software for the purchasing side of the equipment due to the fact that not all durable medical equipment is covered by insurance or not covered by it 100 percent and there will be a retail aspect involved with the patient. The medical billing software will keep track of all the invoices that have to do with insurance payments and patient payments.

Thoughts On Loan Amortization Schedules

It’s time to get serious about Loan Amortization Schedules.
I need to find out how much my payments will be for the mortgage I’m considering. My budget is tight.
I’ve dug up some decent info online on Early Loan Payoff Calculator over the past few days, so I’m making progress.
I’m hopeful that I’ll make a good choice for this loan once I have all the information in front of me.

I’ll post more soon.
