Thunderstorms

Posted by admin on July 26, 2008 in Finance

Late in the spring a couple of years ago, my wife and I had decided to install one of those big, gaudy rooftop antennas when a major thunderstorm came through. I am normally a little distrustful of insurance providers, but now I see why homeowner's accident, sickness and unemployment insurance can be a true life-saver. The newly attached antenna served as a lightning rod and our house was struck by lightning, not once but twice! The lightning began a slow burning fire. We were able to save some of our personal items, but much of the home was lost. We still send Christmas cookies to our insurance agent.

A Whole Book Of Stipulations For Employers Liability

Posted by admin on July 26, 2008 in Business

It's amazing what they can make a book out of these days. I was in a bookstore the other day, just looking for a replacement for my calendar. The dog had gotten a hold of it and tore it to shreds. Well anyway, while I was in there I decided to browse a bit. There was a huge section for legal and tax help. In fact, I saw a whole, fat book of stipulations for employers liability and workmen's compensation insurance. There was another huge section on cookbooks, one for religious stuff, one on philosophy, and just one tiny section for calendars. It's amazing what they'll put in a book these days.

Stocks Vs Annuities - Annuities Review

Posted by admin on July 25, 2008 in Finance

Let compare stocks to annuities, first the stock. Stocks inherently have risk built into them. They are what they are. Any stock has the potential to fail miserably or succeed wildly. Careful study and overview of a company's stock is needed. Stock and company performance, earning trends, even financial health of the company, all are vital in making the right choice on whether to invest or not, and even then there is still the possibility of the stock under performing.

However to choose an annuity requires merely a simple Annuities Review. Whereas all stocks are a gamble, annuities are much clearer, you can even get a immediate annuity quote in some cricumstances. Via an Annuities Review, you as an investor can pick an annuity that suits you. Some annuities carry a much greater risk, but with the potential of greater returns. While other annuities carry far less risk and are guaranteed to grow steadily but slowly throughout the years.

Creating Penny Stock Fortunes With Active Penny Stocks.

Posted by admin on July 25, 2008 in Finance :: Trading / Investing

There is no absolute definition of a penny stock or active penny stocks. There are a lot of people that say a penny stock is one that trades for pennies, there are others that think it is a stock that trades for under five dollars, and then there are people that think a penny stock is any stock that is not traded on the major markets exchanges. But active penny stocks, with their low price, still could make penny stock fortunes. Active penny stocks are capable of making swift moves in very short time frames which make them unique. Active penny stocks are based on the price of the stock which is usually very low but these stocks are much riskier then regular stocks are.

Having a vision is the first priority of a successful change process. A change management toolkit is available outline specific guidelines for coming up with a successful vision. Once the successful vision is determined, the change management team is responsible for the entire process to be completed. If the vision of the change management team is poor, a new vision or plan must be in place before the change process even begins. The Skinny On Lean Manufacturing Training

Posted by admin on July 24, 2008 in Business :: Management

I’ve just started learning about
Lean Manufacturing Training. I think it could help our company if we could manage to make the necessary adjustments.
I’ve been reading up all over the web on Lean Manufacturing Techniques. The adjustment process would be painful, but I think we can manage it.
Greater efficiency is always the best way to improve the bottom line, in my mind, because it can all happen inside the company. It doesn’t depend on anyone but ourselves.
More on this soon.

Television: A Great DRTV Media

Posted by admin on July 23, 2008 in Business :: Marketing & Advertising

Every advertiser has ample choice when it comes to choosing a particular media for his or her DRTV campaign. Each of these media has its own set of advantages and disadvantages to offer the user. But one DRTV media that falls weighs a little heavier on the plus side is television. Television is one of the most widely preferred media for direct response television. This is primarily because of two reasons. One, the television is a medium of belief. What we see is what we believe, and this is exactly what the television works on. It allows you to actually show your product and demonstrate the usage of the same. Another reason that makes television a popular choice is the wide reach that it has to offer. So all those looking for a successful DRTV campaign, television is a must recommend.

The Importance of Planning for the Future

Posted by admin on July 23, 2008 in Finance

While no one likes to think about their own mortality, it is important to plan for these types of events, so that you can minimize the impact on your family when the time comes. This is especially important when considering that they will already be undergoing emotional turmoil. By naming a responsible, dependable executor of estate, you are off to a good start, as that person will have most of the duties fall on their shoulders when you pass away. Without a reliable and level-headed person in that position, things will be very chaotic, especially if you have a sizable estate.
